Here go the rules and tips for these boards to enhance good times on the forum and between the members.
Useful Tips
.......A skin is a different arrangement of colours/ banner/ pictures on the forum than the one you see right now.
You can choose a skin in your profile that meets your taste.
......If you cannot make banners and avatars (the pictures in your profile&posts) yourself; ask at the Fatima's Café board whether someone can make a set for you. There are also places over the internet where you find avatars etc.
........Introduce yourself in the Introduction board so people will notice you for a first time, say hello and you're faster part of the community!
.........PM ( =instant messages). You can receive and send private messages to other members of the forum....this is not public. You find the link for you message inbox at the bottom of the mainpage in the info stats.

Rules!
.........We don't accept any content, language,... that expresses profanity, adult material (like pornography, extreme violence etc.). The forum stays "family-friendly"!
.........Don't attack other members. On this forum like on others you find people of all kinds and ages. Do not consciously offend others. Respect is the magic word here.
.........Do not use abbreviated language too much since not only native English speakers register and also for the others it is hard to read!
.........Your signature space should not contain a banner bigger than 500 pixels (width). You can of course have smaller signatures/banners/etc. and text.
..........Do not hotlink (using other people's [banner] links.
Load up your pics and banners etc at one of the following hosts:

http://imageshack.us
http://www.tinypic.com
..........Do NOT SPAM the forum with useless posts. Make sure you have at least 3 words in your post that make sense and contribute something to the discussion.
...........Advertisements: You can show us your livejournals, websites etc., but with only one thread.... no advertisement spam! You can put your site or forum in your profile and people will notice it there too!
.......no PM spam or advertisements!
If you consciously break these rules, maybe even more then once, you risk being banned from the forum by the staff. If a staff member contacts you because of a problem, please take it seriously. It's normal that you cannot know everything but please do as suggested by the staff, older members and these rules and we all can enjoy a good time here
If you have any problems with the functions on the forum or you seriously have a have a problem with other members you can also PM the staff or ask other members for help.
